This final scene made me go reread the novella scene, bc this interpretation is crazy!!! I don't the words in the original, but something like "a lock of her hair" - I pictured a little small thing, like you cut a small bit of a newborn's hair as a keepsake - the graphic novel has it being the ENTIRE braid!!! Like how does she explain that to her new husband?!! (Curious how next season will do this!!!)
