There were BIG issues with both the first and second book, if this wasn't the author who wrote Valentine Nook I'd abandon the series, instead here I am, trying, with doubtful results. At least this isn't terrible (average flat reads are the new normal, I had never dnf as much as the last few weeks, at this point I'm the problem)
