Kane and Dahlia have a weird attraction to each other. Like they shouldn’t but can’t help but get drawn in like magnets. To the point where even Kane is trying to get Preston and Jude to not be as interested in Dahlia.

All I have to say is both Dahlia and Kane are fucked up. She is more fucked up with the aspect of feeling responsible for her parents death and growing up in the foster care system.

He has some weird kinky culty issues that we haven’t fully heard about. But I think we will soon.

Daliah can’t seem to stay away from Kane. But he can’t seem to stay away from her either. Whether it’s intentional or not.
Daliah came across a meeting between Kane and other Vencor members but once others tried to make jokes about fucking her, Kane lost it. Saying only he is allowed to fuck her. Which he do with not taking any clothes off.

Kane is dealing with the reason he get Dahlia out of his head after he had to rape her for initiation. I’m finding it hard to sympathize with him right now after that. It was a major ick for me personally.

But he seems to be the most “well rounded” out of our three boys. Jude is unhinged as fuck and apparently Preston is a sociopath. No wonder they are in a cult.

Ok I get this book is a dark romance but the sa part of the imitation was alot. Like Jesus Kane, I get it’s part of steps to get into Vencore but God Damn.

I didn’t like that. I don’t care if Dahlia ended up being satisfied and enjoying it. It was just humiliating and degrading and that was fucked up. Otherwise I enjoy the book

So is Vencor like a cult sort of thing that Kane, Jude, and Preston have been born into? What makes the cult so great and why did Kane invite Daliah to the initiation even though he barely knows her.

Also he caught her spying on him and the boys practice. Wouldn’t that freak out any sane person? I have so many questions but not enough answers. Also what happened to Daliah’s sister? How did she die?

I was ready to really dig into this book. However people in my house wouldn’t stop talking so I couldn’t focus. I am curious about what this book entails after the author note. I’m a little worried.
