“the thing about umbrellas is that they’re easy to spot” this panel makes me wanna cry and i have no clue why!!!!! it’s such a universal experience to be lost in a crowd and then to feel the RELIEF when you spot your loved one and know that you’re safe. enjin and his umbrella are a beacon, a place to reunite, such an innocently sweet symbol of community and all the comfort it provides

who did he get his name from? why does he owe them everything? did he take their name or did this person teach him what it means to connect others and be a leader?
also confirmation (?) that this manga is supposed to be taking place in the far off future since enjin refers to japanese as an ancient language. explains why the ground's written language is so familiar but off
