I’m sad but this book is a DNF for me. I spent so long waiting for this Libby hold to come in and it just was not the right book to be reading at the time. It has all the bones of a classic murder mystery and a cool book within a book concept but I just could not get into it. Hoping to come back to it at some point, maybe the audiobook?

Pet peeve of mine when an author says something has happened only twice and then follow it up with only telling you what one time was. It feels incomplete and I don’t like it

Interesting for sure. I really wanted a classic whodunnit and it looks like that’s what this will be, plus the book inception is a rather intriguing concept.
