I don’t typically pick up books in translation, so this was a first. It’s set up as three separate stories that are connected by a bookshop. If you have a hard time reading about grief (though not the main part of the story) I may shy away, but if you’d like a heartfelt set of stories and a bookstore surrounded by cherry blossoms, it’s for you.
