This is the perfect example of when communication and the lack thereof does nothing. The two are so stuck that there's nothing anyone that anybody could do to get them out of a situation or conflict.

I love this danmei so much because in this case I don't even know an solution and the anxiety it gives me omg I'm going crazy ... I'm so scared what will happen and how they will solve this because I really don't know and the only thing that calms me is seeing them staying together and trusting in each other

Honestly I was putting off reading this volume because I knew the impending doom is coming. But now that I'm reading it, I can't stop thinking about them. 🥺

After Vol. 3 I continued reading the fantranslation so I'm not sure if that happens in Vol 4. or after that but I paused when Jiang Cheng moved away ... my anxiety went uupppp. I think I never ever was that anxious reading a book because usually as a reader you predict what will happen or what the characters can do to fix a problem but here ... omg idk. Gu Miao would have to make crazy unrealistic progress because Gu Fei will never leave her behind ... what do you think will happen?
