I am so conflicted. On the one hand, Kaede's grandfather is simply a brilliant man struggling with a terrible disease. But on the other, this is practically painting his Lewey Body Dementia as a superpower. I love the nods to golden age mysteries, but if this wasn't for work, I'm not sure I'd keep reading.
