Ummm so this book sucks? I hate the writing, all the characters are weird and shallow, the plot is so boring and nothing feels realistic??


Like if im an author with unlimited creative license, why write a plot that’s a woman loses her virginity on her wedding night to a womanizer, 1 month later is pregnant and then has to quit the job she loves?? It’s not even written as a critic of society??? It’s like HUH?

Bro there is NO WAY they got married, yall don’t know each other at all! Just trauma bonded in war times… like got married, walking through your new home and THEN you talk about if you want kids?!

Also I HATE a virginity trope. Soooo disgusting and fetishized and lame! Snooze town - also barf at the “wedding night” descriptions like come on… nasty and weird. Make him a virgin loser, not her!! Ugh

Chair 7 and things are getting worse (hopefully before they get better). You lost me at “she was mouthwateringly gorgeous” level dialogue. Like shut up armie hammer I’m sick of your ass. He’s always salivating, wanting to devour, consume, savor etc it’s so many food words used to describe a woman’s affection and it’s weirding me out?! Maybe it’s the Epstein files of it all but I’m not into it

Why am I finding the American pilot out kinda creepy! The repeated asking her out until she says yes is so 50s weirdo… also why is everyone in love and first sight?? Like it’s a bit weird how everyone is the sexiest person alive (stole this critic from #1 Hater Nick) and the endless swooning about a wink or smirk is a lot.

I will persist cause I love a dual timeline!
