In the championship of the hunting competition, off to a good start with a quick find for the first hide. And the hunt continues.

Hunting the "ghost coon" turned tragic, but the treatment didn't seem to me serious enough, ending with a "I did a small thing that made me feel better about it, so let's go hunting again." I guess it is a YA book, but that casualness still surprised me.
