DNF - I always try to read 100 pages before putting a book down, and really hoped this one would prove itself by the time I got there. It felt like if The Devil Wears Prada was about the UN in Iraq, with a cast of caricatures more exhausting than fun. I really liked the passages about Nadia’s past and at the women’s camp, but the rest felt like a chain of shenanigans more cringe than fun.
