Viggo and Oliver really crossed the line. I have to admit, I don't think this book is going to be a favorite in the series; at most, it'll probably be a four-star read. I'm going to try to finish it in morning. I was supposed to have finished it yesterday, but I couldn't.

It wasn't a five-star read, but I have to say Chloe Liese has a way of making me feel like everything is going to fall apart with only two chapters left. She pulled off such a massive plot twist in this book that I was completely floored. Now I'm so excited because the next book is about Rooney!

My God, the Bergman brothers are pure chaos 😂 and now I really want a book that tells Alex and Elin's story; I would really, really love that.

Okay, the story is finally starting to get back on track, but only because the Bergman brothers are interfering in the situation. However, after this book, I’m getting really excited to read Viggo's book, because he literally reads romance novels and knows how to treat a girl right because of it. An A+ for you, Viggo.

I’m starting to think this might be my least favorite book in the series. I’m trying to see both Freya’s and Aiden’s sides, but they seem to be stuck in a constant back-and-forth between trying to reconcile and arguing. I can see that Aiden is trying, but he’s still fixated on the plotline about needing money, while she keeps complaining that he’s married to his work.

This is my first time reading a book with the marriage-in-crisis trope, and I’m already desperate for them to work things out. The worst part is that I can’t even judge Aiden because, just like him, I suffer from anxiety—a thousand times more severe than his—and I also hide how I feel from everyone. In other words, I can’t just take Freya’s side because I truly understand him.

The beginning of this one feels a bit weak, or maybe it’s just because I never really managed to connect with Freya whenever she appeared in the previous books. However, I’m going to give it a chance since I enjoyed the first two books so much.
