Already off the bat - it’s moving fast. You’re supposed to build up and set the scene. Also why should I, as the reader, care for this garden that you want to save? You need to make me care, and set the scene - the vibe. Feel like this is moving quickly. Even the interactions between Lily and her friend, Bella weren’t natural (?)
