Perfect timing on the release of this one. Exactly one week after seeing Cursed Child on Broadway, I was needing a refresher. Its plot and characters are so pivotal to the play and I have the movie (and LEGO video game levels) so ingrained in my memory, I knew I needed to go back to the original source to fill in the blanks.

Reading this in 2026 is crazy because aside from Voldemort the main villains are 1) the son of a very important politician who steals an old man’s identity and uses it to spy on and kidnap children, and 2) a journalist who uses A.I. to write here stories. Also, I’m pretty convinced that Ludo Bagman is really just Casey Wasserman.
