If I ever see mark Danielewski in person, it's on site

This novel makes me feel like I was dragged to a slam poetry night at the hipster coffee shop at 10 p.m. and someone slipped me acid. I am largely convinced the "writer" is an incel or virgin with the large amount of erotic fanfiction/daydreaming going on. In one story, we're trying to listen to (I'm assuming) a cosmic horror tale and the other is American Psycho meets Requiem for a Dream but lax on the commentary.

I have been reading just not recording! This book is growing on me but I think having the two stories playing out congruently is to cover the weak spots in each other instead of improving anything

If your footnote is six pages, it isn't a footnote. Don't piss me off.
