I enjoyed this novel. It took me a while to get into it, but I really liked Emmett, Sally and, especially Billy. I loved hearing stories from the ‘Compendium’, meeting Ulysses and learning about the Lincoln Highway. There were struggles and sadness, but it kept me turning pages!
