This is absolute doggy doo-doo (forgive my potty words it just pmo 😭) but it doesn’t do what it says, instead it reinforces the same cringey tropes, and they’re all teens so it just feels forced and weird. Idk if I can finish this without throwing a book.

I will probably sound like a hypocrite right now considering how I hate to dnf books, but if you're struggling with this story, quit it. It's okay to do so, we're reading books to enjoy them, right? And you clearly don't enjoy reading this one.
