Ok so I’m absolutely fascinated with this story. I guess technically this is considered one book, but it is split up into three “books” which are effectively the three acts. I’m saying this because I was planning on just finishing “book 1” and moving onto a totally different novel but I’m so fascinated that I blew past book 1 and am a good ways into book 2 now. How did I not know that Murakami existed??

I need to read both of those. I started with Men without women, finished Norwegian wood a couple months ago. Gonna try Kafka on the shore next I think
