I remain convinced that Wuthering Heights only ever managed to become a Classic because Readers were deprived in the 1800s eaarly 1900s and such and lack of diversity of books to choose from to read. If they had a wider context of comparision wuthering heights would look like the festering dumpster fire of shit that it really truly is.
