I got the audiobook for free and still feel like I deserve a refund. I listened since TikTok wouldn’t stop shoving this series down my throat. Instant regret - I’m hating my life listening to this. Romance used to be an art and now it’s the Wal-Mart of literary genres. If other genres are fine art, modern romance is mass-produced wall art from HomeGoods. If classic romance is couture, modern romance is Shein.
