i find it fascinating how detached he seems from people, but at the same time… idk, i’d never paid much attention before, but sally writes about sex a lot, in a way that feels more erotic than explicit, full of tension rather than spectacle. so peter almost seems to connect through sex, yet it’s described in such a non materialistic, non objectifying way. well okay peter is misogynistic, but not because of that
