I’ve been really enjoying this one. It’s informative, but written in such a way that feels accessible and relatable to readers who aren’t involved in academia. This isn’t so much a book about cults as it is about the tactics they and other high control organizations use to exert their influence over people.

Spent about 45 minutes reading this one, up to the end of the first part of Chapter 1. (There is a Part 2 to that chapter.) If you’re familiar with Daniella’s videos, then a lot of what she talks about in this book will be very familiar, just in a lot more detail with research and sources to back it up (as well as her own personal insights).
