Up until this chapter, I think everything has been taking place during just one day? Which is kind of crazy, but somehow kinda works. I won't say the whole setup is entirely original, the back of the book even mentions The Last Airbender, but what I'm really enjoying is following both the kid and his mother! She's badass.
