Can’t believe that North was acquitted. He got what he deserved though 🍆❌ Him trying to take the Ballard’s home was fucking wild. Rebecca having the baby and immediately telling them to get rid of it was crazy but makes sense. Glad that Martha was able to bring the baby to Sarah. Ugh and hearing the story about how Martha and Ephraim lost their 3 daughters was so sad

I love Martha so much!! She speaks her mind and supports women during some of the hardest times of their life. Dr. Page is fucking useless and I’m glad she told him to stop delivering babies and he begrudgingly agreed. Martha’s husband is so sweet too and truly cares and loves her. Love that her daughters both found good men to be with too.

Love a good historical fiction and mystery from time to time. This Burgess man has been murdered but he was also one of the men to rape Rebecca Foster. She’s pregnant with one of her rapists’ baby!! And now her housekeeper Sally Pierce just accused her of fornication and her husband for murdering Burgess. Ughh
Also there was a flashback but I’m a little confused on if the hanging then was important or not yet
