I’ve never audibly laughed out loud from a book so many times

THIS MADE ME LAUGH OUT LOUD IN THE LIBRARY

ugh I love hot nerds the ending of this chapter was delicious thank you onto the next plate!

“‘LOL?’ she yelled. ‘LOL, you motherfucker?’
God bless the city planners who’d decided to lay these streets out in the grid pattern that made what I’d just done possible. This was, perhaps, the proudest moment of my life. If I died tomorrow, it would be with the knowledge of this one perfect prank.”

I’m so in love with the writing style in this book that this part had me ugly cackling in the dark.

“In answer, he sent back a zipped lip emoji followed by a knife and then a grinning devil face.

Cool, cool.

It was either his turn for knife play or he was planning to stitch my lips shut so I wouldn’t be able to tell the Devil who stabbed me to death when I got to hell.”

Reading this with the pleasure of having the audiobook playing is the best form of entertainment ever I’m actually laughing myself into incoherent wheezes at this part of the book
