He hired a stylist to buy her new clothes AND UNDERWEAR without her knowing/consenting. “You don’t have much of a professional wardrobe”. The romance reader in me loooooves that but the hyper independent man-hater in me thinks he’s overstepping. They don’t even *like* each other at this point in the book.
