From the reviews and synopses I’m pretty certain I can predict the plot with 90% accuracy. This isn’t necessarily fatal; let’s see if the writing is good enough to carry the reader along for the ride.

4. The details about her childhood are … wrong. No school bus is likely in that era. The description of her school is very unlikely. A few moments research of pre-Vatican II Catholicism in Australia would have paid dividends.
