Why did Richard Osman give us that big Bitcoin reveal before this tense scene with Ron? Wouldn't that have made the stakes higher??

I feel like Richard Osman is trying to be extra British in this book

There's a Davey and a Danny, and Davey is talked about significantly more than Danny, so when we go back to Danny I think it's Davey at first, then realize it's not and have to take a few more moments to remember who the hell Danny is from way back at the beginning of the book
