The whole “I know what I’m doing, I am woman, hear me roar” argument is getting a bit old in this book. Yeah, I get there are a lot of jerky men around (not Sy) so Ashley feels the need to flex her authority but eh… so when she’s arguing with Sy over her capabilities, I kinda lost my patience with her somewhat.

I am loving the underlying series arc about what makes the ferals and how they change. I care more about that than the main romance story itself.

I want to know how these guys all know how to jiggy jiggly so well when they don’t have women on heir planet or limited access to them. I mean, wouldn’t they all be virgins?
