I have to! My younger sister read the entire series in like three days, told me it was amazing, that she absolutely loved it, and that quote, "Everyone who doesn't like it is a toaster pastry. I've said it once, and I'll say it again."

I'll read it and choose one of two outcomes: Love it or absolutely hate it, and then beat her in intellectual debates about its merits.

So erm your sister has poor taste in literature 😭😭😂

The author writes it like every sentence is a life changing quote, and I’m pretty she plagiarized and stole ideas from other books (there’s a ton of videos online of people pointing out huge things the author stole from other books). I skimmed it and the writing was good but in the every sentence is overwritten and she wanted everything to be a quote kinda way.

The fmc is mega cliche fantasy girl boss and the mmc is just a hottie who probably sucks but the readers love him bc he has like two redeeming qualities.

I can’t say much tho bc I did just skim it, but it was really really bad (and I’ve read some terribly written books before).

But my biggest thing with it is it’s super unoriginal and she seriously writes every sentence like it’s this life changing thing. She wants everything to be a quote.

yeah the powerless series sucked except for powerful, which was about a side character from the first book
