Am I seriously supposed to be rooting for Jean or caring about the absolute mess she's made of her life? Because if she fell down the stairs and broke her neck I would go about my day totally unbothered.

I'm finding this book hard to get through because of Jean and her constant "poor little me" routine. Girl you cheated, live with the consequences.

I want to like this book but if the main character could start acting like she cares about literally anything, that'd be great.
