Have you ever read any Mary Stewart books? I ask because you mentioned romantic suspense... lol. If you haven't, I can tell you something about her if you're interested🙃

Oh man, her books are so much fun 😍😍 She was an English novelist who was kind of known for pioneering the “romantic suspense” novel—she wrote most of them in the 1950s and 60s. I only stumbled upon her in the last few years and have just gobbled her books up. They’re pretty silly and predictable but in a way that is just soo insanely enjoyable (most of the time 😂). And her characters are fantastic. Her heroines always feel so real and honest and relatable; there’s a refreshing self-awareness about them. Some are definitely better than others, but I just really love her writing and her books😍🙈
