will never get over how visually appealing this book is. everything is described so vividly. i feel like I’m there with them. the film has only elevated this experience tbh. i read about the mountains and i can SEE the mountains. glorious.

his disdain for the creature is so interesting to me. he spent so much time meticulously orchestrating him to the best of his abilities only to turn on him once he managed to pull It’s existence from his mind and into reality. It’s almost like he didn’t want his theory on life and creation to be true and instead for it to just be a journey that failed him.
