Who is this character who is named Anne- surely it can’t be the same lovely red-headed sprite whom I loved. It has to be a character with the same name because there is no way my beloved Anne would ever say that soft-soap monologue.

I currently am flabbergasted at this book even being THOUGHT of as part of my lovely Anne series.
Where is Anne? Where is Gilbert? Why is she shoved off to the side and her ENTIRE character is changed? 🫠🫠🫠 this feels more like “story girl adjacent” not Anne. Boo. I’m not happy about this at all.
