I have read much better written accounts of life in the slums of India. So far I haven't read anything that I haven't heard before and while it is nonfiction it reads very fiction so I cannot help but feel like there is an emotional connection missing. It feels flat and I cannot help but compare it to the fiction books I have read that have said pretty much everything she has said but in a much less emotional way.
