I’m struggling with this a little. I didn’t realise the FMC was in her 40s with a kid my age. Reading a romance about a woman who’s struggling to get up the courage to eat alone is something I personally don’t find very relatable or enjoyable.

I don’t think this book is bad so I’m going to push through, it’s just not what I expected.
