Just passed the section where Minister Malcolm X discusses the 'March' on Washington, a supposed protest by the angry Black community but was instead usurped by the White men and Black 'intellectuals' (as Malcolm X named the educated Blacks who sought unity). A smart tactic employed to secretly silence the angry Black community - a community that needed a representative like Malcolm X instead of MLK.

The last 10 pages truly conveyed Malcolm X's reverence for Islam. Though his exposure to Islam was through the Nation of Islam, a wrongful representation of Muslim belief, the story he has been telling shows traits of being truly good Muslim. The reflection upon is past brings back sympathy for his aggressive Nation of Islam views on unity -- what would he have in prison if not the Nation of Islam?
