yet another beautiful concept of a boy learning to overcome his trauma overshadowed by 'meeting a pretty girl and dating her completely solves all of my problems' :(

why can't it ever be about individual character strength, or learning to rely on and heal relationships with family and friends? sick of YA being full of 'getting a boyfriend/girlfriend will solve all your problems' thats not healthy!!!
