I admire Sally Rooney as an author but I need someone to talk to about how truly unbearable Peter’s sections are to read—not even because of his character or plotline, solely because of her stylistic choice of having him narrate exclusively in sentence fragments.

I’m 7 hours in and it feels like the audiobook should be ending but there are 10 hours left? I usually enjoy Sally Rooney but it’s been hard to pay attention, especially for this length of time.
