DNF at 50%
I think Catriona Ward is a great writer and I don’t think this is a bad book. I just don’t think it’s for me. So I cannot give this a bad review or even tell yall not to read it. Like I said, I’ve loved other books by her. This one just didn’t grab me. I put it down for so long that my library loan expired so I think that’s a sign to either DNF or try again later

Man I hate to say this but I might DNF. I LOVED House on Needless Street so I had such high hopes for this one but I find myself forcing myself to pick it up which is the opposite of what a horror novel should be. I’ll give it until 50% and let Catriona cook some more but so far I’m so lukewarm. It’s not BAD. I’m just bored.
