Last year I attempted to read Vineland and failed. It was like trying to sharpen the frames of a dream. This book has the same mystifying prose style but it is required for a class so I will be reading it in two or three days. When I am not so busy again, I will conquer Vineland. I’ve seen its film “adaptation” six times. I can do it.
