i wish i’d read this sooner!!

so this book is fucking incredible
it also has some striking similarities to in the lives of puppets with the “terrible dogfish” “puppet people” and the grandfather who isn’t really the real grandfather. clearly either TJ Klune took inspiration from this book or both Jay and TJ took inspo from Pinocchio
