At what point did they say the oil painted woman in the canvas was real? Why isn’t there more description on how a physical woman fits into a canvas? Or how he was able to carry her in the canvas all the way home?

Another book I hurried to listen to as multiple people had put it on hold so it’ll be a while before I can get it back. That said, I’ll take accountability for not listening with 100% intention, but I don’t feel like the talk of disappearance truly started to occur or anything even relating to disappearance started to occur until the 14th chapter or 9 hours and 40 mins into the book.
