I expected it to be more like To Build a Fire and less about sex and betrayal. But sex and betrayal are in our nature, some much more or less than others, and so the title is a unique turn on the idea. The author's voice is amazing, and this was an entertaining read just because of that. Add in some plots that leave you pondering and sometimes dusturbed for days, and you have a pretty wonderful book.
