I’m loving reading about how the New Testament was formed — not as something that magically appeared, but as a collection of writings shaped, preserved, and recognized and most importantly translated and interpreted through history. The connection between faith and history fascinates me. They should not exclude but support each other.

After reading only spiritual books for Lent I had no intention of starting this one.... but here I am.... hooked by page 6....
