So far I'm loving it. I read these books a bit like I'm playing clue trying to guess who the bad guy(s) is/are. I have an idea who attacked her in the parking lot. Loving Jake, nice to see him back after we were introduced to him back during the SWAT story line.

Very sad about Emma's birth mom but a great twist about Emma. LOVED Jake and his story. A wonderful tie in to the task force series without it being focused on a member of the task force but on members of the community that they are protecting.

We're half way into the book but not even 24hrs into the story, it's really good but I feel like it needs to be twice as long if it's going to be rushed.
