selene already met kasey like 40 some pages ago. i can’t tell if this is a product of her magic-induced amnesia or if the author is throwing plot holes and has amnesia of her own

i’m sorry but how does chapter 13 end like that. ??? memnon accosts selene and then chapter 14 starts with her in class? how does she get away from him. like? no on-page description of her running away or memnon leaving to bide his time. just. ??? and it’s bothering me bc memnon clearly isn’t the kind of guy to just walk away like this. hello??? garbage.

this is extremely cringe. like. extremely. and the dialogue between selene and sybil?? cringe. like who talks like that. sybil is annoying. selene is annoying. why are we humanizing the panther. memnon seems annoying. the writing is cringe and wattpad-y.
