Jude's life continues to get worse and worse. This is by far the most devastating novel I have ever read.

Another chapter down! I've been too busy to read lately. Such a shame.

Not a very big update, but I have finally finished part one of the novel! The more I read, the more intriguing the story becomes. While my hope builds alongside Jude's for his future, I can't help but feel that this is not the end of his string of sorrows.

My term paper is based on this novel. I have having such a difficult time reading it though. However, the characters and plot is interesting.

Fairly good. A little slow to start, but I’m sure it’ll pick up soon.

The ending is a little slow. I am reading like three other books at the moment so that could be it. However, I am enjoying certain aspects of the novel. Just wish I had time to sit down and appreciate it more.
