This made me cry and have (yet another) religious existential meltdown. So yeah it was really good. I think my mouth was wide open the last 40-50 pages, there were so many small plot twists and revelations that made all the difference. I don't read a lot of horror and it's definitely not my genre of taste, but religious horror always does something to me and this was genuinely spectacular

Took a very long break from this as I was busy with (I'm guessing finals I don't even know when I paused reading) and was home for a month and a half without it. I don't know if this is my favorite genre but it is quite engaging and easy enough to read

Interesting thus far, I'm kind of getting a Lapvona vibe which is interesting because vastly different books
