I love how back then they used 37 words just to say “she is in everyone’s business” because SAME! 🤣 but also this audiobook is playing on 0.9 speed cause my brain is working overtime to comprehend 😮💨

The scandals are stacking up!
Mr. Bingley ghosting Jane and leaving the country with Mr. Darcy.
Mr. Wickam lying to Elizabeth during their unofficial courtship.
Mr. Darcy proposing to Elizabeth and her rejection.
Elizabeth finding out the truth about Mr. Wickam’s lies and regretting the rejection of Mr. Darcy’s proposal.
Lydia runs off with Mr. Wickam and apparently casts her virtue to the swine 😅
Mr. Gardiner (Lydia’s uncle) seemingly pays Mr. Wickam, unbeknownst to Lydia, to marry Lydia in an attempt to save the family name.
Lydia, now Mrs. Wickam, returns home waxing eloquently about her new “status” as a married woman and Elizabeth “runs away” literally on multiple occasions to stop herself from crashing out on Lydia.
Elizabeth finds out that Mr. Darcy, who supposedly despises Mr. Wickam, attended the wedding!!!
WHAT!? So now Elizabeth is in investigation mode 😂
